The purpose was to explain where bottles come from, how they are made, how do we recycle them. The children were enthusiastic to see how a SBM plastic bottle is made from a preform and that a preform is made from pellets.

The class loved to see all the master batch colors and touch the raw material.

Rita also explained what she does - verifying the quality of all packages produced, implementing quality systems, answering to customer's needs and helping prepare for audits.

This is an excellent way to teach about the life cycle of a bottle and how it is reincorporated, becoming a new bottle. 

At the end, each student received a bottle.
