Global warming is a major challenge and Logoplaste is taking actions to reduce CO2 emissions.

Our in-house business model is already the lowest emitter of CO2 by eliminating transport, secondary packaging and handling. We started the journey with a clear target and we are taking decisive actions, one step at a time.

In 2020 we have made the following changes to our enegry supply:

  • Dumfries, UK – sourcing of 100% renewable energy since October 2020
  • Mealhada, Portugal – photovoltaic panels installed in March 2020
  • Pomezia, Italy –sourcing of 100% renewable energy since April 2020

Last year, these 3 steps represented a saving of 5 000 tons CO2 emissions. In 2021, we have already installed photovoltaic in one of our Polish plants.

We will keep you up to date with further developments, as more plants launch their transformational initiatives this year.
