In 2021, Logoplaste Amparo, increased dramatically the amount of recycled PET used in new bottles. It is impressive to see Circular Economy for plastic packaging in the works, in this case for UHT milk bottles in Brazil. To give a sense of the dimension, the virgin resin saved, translated into new bottles was: PCR PET from local market - 203,3 tons = 7.789.000 bottles 

Total of 11.221.000 bottles were recycled and reincorporated
into new bottles in 2021!

The numbers are impressive, but this initiative accomplishes more.

This achievement is aligned with our commitment under the New Plastics Economy and the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, to increase the incorporation of recycled content by 2025. Our aim is to become the leader in CO2 emissions reduction as we decrease the use of virgin raw material.
