Logoplaste takes Silver at IDEA 2022

ECO 6L Refillable Filtered Water Bottle Wins Silver in the International Design Excellence Awards—IDEA 2022 

The ECO 6L bottle is a tour de force in practical design.

Upright, it’s easy to fill and carry. Face down, it makes a great dispenser for the counter or the fridge. Made of recyclable, BPA-free PET in a UV-filtering shade of blue, the bottle’s face is sliced by a facet that recreates the brand’s logo and creates a titled base that makes sure you get every drop from the bottle when it’s lying down. It’s a brilliant combination of form, function, and branding.

IDEA® 2022 Sets a New Bar

Going on its 42nd annual edition, the International Design Excellence Awards (IDEA)® 2022 broke records with the most entries ever—2,200 entries  from 30 countries, all competing to be recognized as the world’s best designs in 20 categories. 

 

The winners traveled to Seattle, WA, in September to attend the IDEA ceremony and gala held at the Benaroya Hall. The IDEA 2022 Ceremony was co-hosted by:

  • Erika Avery, IDSA, Ceremonial Jury Chair and Industrial Designer at GE Appliances
  • Jason Belaire, IDSA, Chair of IDSA’s Board of Directors
  • Marc Greuther, Vice President of Historical Resources and Chief Curator at The Henry Ford Museum of American Innovation

 

A demanding jury

Forty-seven jurors, over two rounds of judging, selected the winners based on five criteria that have remained unchanged in the 42-year history of the program: Design Innovation, Benefit to the User, Benefit to the Client, Benefit to Society, and Appropriate Aesthetics. 

IDEA’s high standard for design excellence and rigorous judging process have set the benchmark for all other design awards programs to follow, cementing IDEA’s preeminent status and global renown.
